Jennifer Rosales: A Pinay Golf Champ
Once again, Jennifer Rosales, the famed Pinay golfer, who was born in Manilla, Philippines, won as first position — together with Dorothy Delasin as representative of the Philippines — on the recently concluded 2008 Women’s World Cup of Golf.

Rosales also won the Philippine Ladies Amateur Golf Championship five times in a row from 1994 to 1998. She played her collegiate golf at the University of Southern California winning the 1998 NCAA Championship as a freshman. as well as the Golf World/Palmetto Dunes Collegiate Invitational. She was named First-Team All-American for 1998-1999.

Rosales gained exempt status for the 2000 LPGA Tour Season by finishing tied for seventh at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. She became the first golfer from the Philippines to win on the LPGA Tour when she won the 2004 Chick-Fil-A Charity Championship. She gained her second win at the first official tournament of the 2005 season, the SBS Open in Turtle Bay, Hawaii.
