The moment I heard Bugoy sing, I knew that he is a star-in-the-making….
My eyes are sparkling with joy. My whole body is shivering that has nothing to do with cold. I focused my attention on the television. And started to cheer when I heard the host announced the name of the PDA Season 2 Grand Star Winner: “BUGOY!” How great if this fantasy were to become a reality. That is why I can’t wait for the Grand Dream Night on September 14, 2008.

Bugoy is the most [vocally] versatile among the remaining six scholars. He has the distinct voice that you would instantly recognize when you hear it. And because of this I believe that he is deserving to become the Grand Winner of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2. Bugoy’s Profile:
Bugoy only recently discovered that he had a stage-ready singing voice, and only accidentally.
Coming from an impoverished family in a far-flung area in Camarines Sur, the hard-working farmer’s son went into university with the dream of earning a degree. He payed his tuition through scholarships and earned his pocket money working as janitor, dish washer and other odd jobs.
It must have been a habit for Bugoy to sing while doing menial jobs. But back in the farm where only the cows and the birds could hear him, his voice went unappreciated. It took a friend, who heard him singing while cleaning with a mop, to make Bugoy realize that he could actually carry a tune. Winning school competitions soon emboldened him to dream some more and try out for PDA.
Look where he is now. Pursuing his dream of becoming a singer. Wherever this takes him, Bugoy will has packed enough prayers in his suitcase to see him through. And he has yet another dream… to meet someone he could fall in love with and call his girlfriend. “Para hindi na ako paghinalaang bading.”

I’m a government employee and an avid viewer of PBB and PDA. Most of my officemates and my children wants BUGOY to win as the Grand Star Dreamer this coming September 14, 2008. I wish him good luck. Hope God will bless him to achieve his dream.

BUGOY BOGAYAN A.k.a DRILON SHOULD BE THE PDA SEASON 2 STAR DREAMER!!!i am out of words..as they announced the 2nd placer of the PDA season 2, we didnt even think it was BUGOY BOGAYAN aka BUGOY DRILON… but much to our dismay… we expect a lot that Bugoy will be the grand dreamer… i mean… what happened???!!! does this mean… the search for the PDA grand dreamer is only based on texts votes???!! then whats the use of judges??? whats the use of talents and skills??? LAARNI LOSALA even failed to impress the audience when she sang last September 12, 2008… this is so dissapointing… this reality talent show…. is nothing but only for earning high ratings rather real skills and talents.. having only based the text votes as their basis of whom the grand dreamer is… makes Pinoy Dream Academy judges as nothing but as a display… BUGOY DRILON WORK HARD!!! I was also VERY disappointed at the result. Kasi, for me, more than just the talent (kasi Laarni also is talented) attitude also matters. Si Bugoy, talagang magaan ang loob, hindi maarte, simple, walang hangin kumbaga. Si Grand Champion is a bit of the prima donna hindi pa man big star, ‘di ba? I have followed PDA Season 2 because of Bugoy kasi the moment I heard him sing, talagang iba ang timplada. Sapok sa pandinig.
I don’t have anything against the judges kasi in the end, it wasn’t their decision that mattered kasi mas malaki ang binigay na percentage sa text votes…after all, negosyo at pera pa rin ang habol, ‘di ba? Ilang beses na bang nangyari na hindi ‘yung karapat-dapat ang nag shine sa talent searches ng ABS-CBN? Si Jeremy Marquez na di hamak na pinakamagaling sa Star in A Million, Si Charice Pempengco na nag second lang din ke Sam Concepcion? Si Divo Bayer na kaboses in Brian McKnight — Pero by the time na ini announce ang decision, recording artist na pala ng Star Records si Divo, so wala akong hinanakit doon…pero asan na siya ngayon?
Sana naman, ABS-CBN bigwigs, the next time you launch a talent search, huwag naman sana mangyari ulit na real talent would suffer because of text votes. Kasi, kaming mga nanonood, medyo na gets na rin namin na pinaglalaruan ninyo kami, eh, Hindi naman kami tanga na hindi malaman kung sino talaga ang deserving to win, ‘di ba? Talent is talent kahit ano pa ang itsura.
